Share Live Videos from your Nokia 5800 with ‘Qik’
Qik, a live streaming video service will be available for all Nokia 5800 XpressMusic owners. Qik on their official blog announced that their application will be included in the latest Nokia 5800 Tube model. It will not come pre-installed with 5800, but will be a part of the download folder and users can download it with one click.
Its a remarkable achievement by a new service like Qik which started out just few months back to make a deal with Nokia. Qik is also available in jailbroken Iphones but this is the first time it is officially included with a handset.
With Qik, you can share live video recordings on your Nokia 5800 with your friends and family via internet. Check out this video to understand how it actually works-

This well known live video capture utility is also now available for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. It'll be limited in quality due to the small size of the 5800's camera unit, but it should work better in future on the Nokia N97 and other compatible devices.

Whilst in London at the Nokia Regent Street Store, an avid blogger Robert Hall who blogs at NokiaUsers was streaming the whole event live from his Nokia 5800. He was also there to buy a Nokia N97 which we now comes preloaded with Qik. A service which I did not know about was Bambuser which operates in the same way as Qik but many seem to think it’s better.
