The Books Library app for Nokia claims to be the best, biggest, and most importantly – free! – mobile book library app that’s available for mobile devices. But what is it really? It depends on who you talk to, or what you read. The description provided by the developers in GetJar, while not very descriptive, does include a long list of features that this app includes. But the user reviews in GetJar do point to some things about this mobile library that make it seem as though while this app may be the biggest library, it may not be the best.

The first thing it’s important to understand is that this is not like any other library app that you’ll come across, and that’s not meant to be a compliment. Instead of the app opening up like a pretty little digital book, it will display a book for you in text only, which means no formatting. And if you’ve ever tried to read a book that hasn’t been formatted, you know just how difficult that can be.

Another really big complaint about the app is that there is not a huge selection of different topics to choose from. In fact, according to one user, the only subject material available is Christianity. So maybe it’s not even the biggest mobile library app. Others though have also noticed other uses for the app, such as the fact that students can use it as a cheat on exams, which may also not be a completely cool thing.
